Dear Parents, Grandparents, and Guardians:
This year we will be presenting our Petersburg Elementary School's Grandparent's Day program on Friday, October 6th, 2023. The Kindergarten, First, and Second grade classes will be performing @ 9:00 in the morning. Our Third, Fourth, and Fifth grade classes will perform @ 1:00 in the afternoon.
Our theme this year is "The Grand Ole Opry". Children are welcome to dress in country western, cowboy/ cowgirl attire, examples; cowboy/cowgirl boots, western hats, bandanas, and etc. Regular school clothes are always appropriate.
I truly have been enjoying teaching all of our wonderful PES students and look forward to seeing you at school on Grandparent's Day. Yee Haw!

LINQ (TITAN) Family Portal--Online Payment Instructions.
There was a recent update to our online payment program. To pay textbook rental/summer school fees/fees for damaged or lost textbooks please follow the steps below:
Register for a LINQ Connect account or Login if you have already registered. Once you login, add your child/children by clicking on the + in the top right hand corner. Our district is "Pike County School Corporation (IN)". After you've added your child/children you will then click on the 3 horizontal lines in the top left hand corner. Choose "Store" and then "Pike County School Corporation (IN)". Then choose your child's school. On the school page, you will be able to choose your child's name and enter the amount to be paid. In the "Notes" box, please type TBR. If the "Notes" box is left blank, you will be unable to add the amount to be paid to the cart. The "Add To Cart" button will turn blue. Once you add to cart, you can choose another school/another child, if paying for more than one. When you are finished adding everything to the cart, you will click on the cart in the top right hand corner. Choose "Go To Checkout". On the checkout page you will enter your billing address and payment method. Finally, you will click on "Confirm & Pay".

Petersburg Elementary School will have an informal "Meet the Teacher Night" Monday, August 8th from 6:00pm-7:00pm. Parents/Guardians can come and go any time during this hour.
The Pike Central Student Government will be hosting a Trunk or Treat and haunted hallways on October 3oth. The trunk or treat will be in front of the cafeteria doors from 5-6 pm. The haunted hallway will be held from 6-8 pm. There will be a small charge for the haunted hallway and all proceeds will be going to Riley's Hospital for Children.
